The Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) is a comprehensive list of occupations that are in high demand in Australia. The list is determined by the Department of Home Affairs and is regularly reviewed by the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business to respond to changes in the labour market. Having an occupation on this list may make you eligible for one or multiple of the following visa types:
- 407 Training Visa
- 489 Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa
- 482 Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
- 485 Temporary Graduate Visa
- 187 Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme Visa
- 186 Employer Nomination Scheme Visa
- 189 Skilled Independent Visa
- 190 Skilled Nominated Visa
