Sonia Garcia

Sonia is originally from Colombia where she completed her Bachelor of Laws. She moved to Australia in 2002 and successfully completed a Cambridge English Certificate along with a Diploma of Law.

She is currently undertaking her final year of studies at the University of Queensland to fulfill the academic requirements for admission as a legal practitioner. Having undergone the migration process herself, Sonia is sensitive and understanding to client needs and expectations and brings this expertise to her role.

Additionally, having worked in the education industry for a number of years, Sonia has extensive experience with international students from all over the world and this has provided her with a framework for understanding different cultures and the process required to integrate into the Australian culture.

At No Borders, Sonia is responsible for legally assisting with migration cases, research and liaison with clients focusing primarily towards Spanish and Latin American clientele.
